Admission Entry Tests & Exam Patterns (2026)

NUST NET (NET 1, 2, 3, 4): 200 MCQs, 3 Hours duration. Engineering & Computing: Mathematics (40%), Physics (30%), Chemistry/Computer (15%), English (10%), Intelligence (5%).
UET ECAT: 100 MCQs carrying 400 total marks. Negative marking applies (-1 deduction for wrong, +4 for correct). Conducted for Punjab engineering admissions.
PMDC MDCAT: 200 MCQs, 210 Minutes. Biology (68 MCQs), Chemistry (54 MCQs), Physics (54 MCQs), English (18 MCQs), Logical Reasoning (6 MCQs). Minimum 55% passing marks for MBBS, 50% for BDS.
NTS NAT & GAT: Standardized university admission tests for COMSATS, public colleges, and graduate admissions.
HEC LAT & USAT: Law Admission Test (LAT, 50% passing marks) for 5-Year LLB, and Undergraduate Studies Admission Test.

University Eligibility Requirements & Degree Programs

Minimum 60% marks in FSc Pre-Engineering or ICS (Math, Physics, Computer Science) for BS Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, and Data Science. Minimum 60% in FSc Pre-Medical for MBBS/BDS. Intermediate in any discipline for BBA, BS Accounting & Finance, and BS Social Sciences. Mandatory IBCC equivalence certificate for O-Levels and A-Levels candidates. 20 bonus aggregate marks for certified Hafiz-e-Quran candidates.
